Church should be a place your family should be excited about attending! What we have learned from listening to many families and individuals is that they want to have a place of worship that is comfortable, inviting, warm, and friendly. They want messages that are practical for their everyday living, music that is upbeat, events for their children to get involved in, and ways to really just fulfill their life.
Our pastor and first lady are amazing people, with hearts of gold! They have children from toddler level through college so they understand what it is like to balance work/life/church! Along with them, our church family is awesome - multicultural, down to earth, from every walk of life, and ready to welcome you right in. our beliefs:
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is eternal and has revealed Himself to us as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration. (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 6:9; Matthew 1:21; Titus 3:5)
Mankind was made in the image and likeness of God, to be like Him in character. Mankind is the supreme object of His creation. Yet mankind is marred by the attitude of disobedience and rebelliousness. This is a direct result of sin and sin separates mankind from God. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2)
Mankind was created to exist forever. We will exist eternally separated from God because of our sins or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation found only in our Lord Jesus Christ.
The plan of salvation:
1) Confess to self and God that you are a sinner at heart
2) Repent of your sinfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ
3) Be baptized in the water for the remission of sins in the name Lord Jesus Christ
4) Receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance
5) Live a sanctified, holy life growing in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
